by James R. Smerdell

Sarah is an eleven-year-old girl being raised in a single-family home by her mother, Natalie. Her father, Michael, was killed before she was born while serving in the military during the first gulf war. She longs to be part of a complete family but knows that can never happen.

Her exemplary faith-filled life doesn’t go unnoticed. Jesus reveals himself to her and presents her with a startling request. He seeks her assistance in a mission to help change the world. What is His request? Will Sarah accept His challenge? Will she be successful? With the unending support from her mother, she dutifully answers the call. For sixteen years, Sarah follows Jesus’ directions and impacts the lives of an untold number of souls. There are emotional ups and downs, but a tragedy brings her to the darkest precipice of despair. Only her faith in God and the love and support of her husband can bring her back.

The story of Sarah teaches us about the virtues of faith, hope and love, but mainly of salvation.
