About the author: Master of his Fate, with its Book Two added, is Richard Wahlberg's first full novel.

He stated it was written with a 'pinch of autobiography.' It is a challenge to the reader to guess which scenes are fact, which are fiction. Now retired, the author is a WWII vet, world traveler, history buff, philatelist, and short story writer. During his business career, Wahlberg was an advertising executive and sales promotion entrepreneur.

An early reviewer stated: "Fantastic. Amazing. With so many true details an unbelievable story becomes believable."
