No Sign in the Sky is a short book examining a problem that vexes a great many people -- the problem of natural evil. It attempts, through logic and reason and in popular language, to give a credible answer to this problem. "Natural evil" means the undeserved pain and suffering that living things undergo because of the creation of the physical nature of the world -- the savagery of the food chain, floods, earthquakes, disease, and so on and on and on. The problem is commonly stated as follows:
God exists.
God is all-powerful.
God is good.
Evil exists in His Creation.
Question: Can all of these propositions be true?
I believe that this book offers a new approach to this ancient problem which has tormented and bewildered so many people.
