One cold, snowy, and wintry Christmas Eve, Donnell John Tarburton, sat before the hearth in his quaint home instead of going to church. He reflected, while watching the dancing flames, upon his life of misfortune, the great love he discarded as a young man, his rejection of God’s call into the ministry, and the trouble others had repeatedly caused him as an adult. He was all alone, without family and friends, except for the kindness and caring of his pastor, the Reverend Michelle Goodspeed. He was sure that the judgment of God following his death, if God did indeed exist, would not go particularly well. He had a terrorizing fear that he would be cast into the burning fires of Hell.
The saintly Father Rasmus Gilbert Feynman was assigned to make another trip to Earth to intervene and reorient Tarburton’s troubled soul following a heavenly received urgent prayer request for help. He would take with him three other spirits who had previously known Donnell in their prior earthly lives. Together, they had to convince him that God’s grace was still operative in his life, and that God Almighty was not finished employing him to serve the Christ in this world.
