Scott illuminates the Missouri tax sale process under R. S. Mo. Chapter 140. Starting with an overview of the law, with citations to authority, the book transitions into some of the inherent complexities of the subject such as statutory compliance, due process, quiet title litigation, and bankruptcies. The book particularly focuses on recent statutory and case law developments both locally and nationally. Scott undertook the first edition of this book as a trade group whitepaper in the fall of 2019 and has continued developing it since.
