This book is a collection of my personal poems that reflect real pain, real tears, real joys, real emotions, and downright hard truths. I write about love loss, domestic abuse, death, chronic illness and some other lovely feelings and emotions that go along with life experiences-like betrayal. Although my words may seem bitter or angry at times, they are meant to comfort you in your times of sadness and to let you know that you are not alone. We all have our moments of a breakdown; I believe it s our job to finish our journey to the end, no matter what. I look back on all that I had accomplished and struggled with over the years. I feel so blessed to have had the love, support and strength from others to keep on dancing through the good times and trudging through the muck. Through the tragedies and the despair I ve always been able to find the silver lining eventually. I strive for the best and I reach for the stars and I pray that you do the same. No matter what obstacles you are faced with in life, don t give up, brush yourself off; hold your head high and keep on going! I will meet you at the finish line!
