Jeremiah Camara has been engaged in the air of poetry since his childhood. His greatest influences are Langston Hughes, Sonia Sanchez, George Gershwin, and Gil Scott-Heron. Also a songwriter and musician, he studied the flute at the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
