At my time in life you tend to look back over your shoulder and see so many mistakes you have made. It is then that you find yourself asking God to forgive you and help you to reconcile your past. Thus, I was inspired to write poetry. I find that the older I get, the more God plays an important role in my life and my outlook on life. In these troubled days, it is most important not to lose sight of Him, for we know not what tomorrow may bring.
