John Alford has devoted most of the last thirty-one years to the scriptures. He received a diploma from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois, after ten years of study by correspondence, and a diploma from Rhema Bible School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after three years of study by correspondence.Born in 1940, the son of Reverend W.L. Alford, a Baptist minister, John grew up in Plains, Georgia, where he graduated from Plains High School in 1958 with honors in clerical training.After serving in the U.S. Navy, he married Emily Farr in 1961. He went on to form and manage his own corporation and several other businesses.In 1980 John Alford surrendered his life to the ministry and is now an ordained, licensed minister of the gospel. In 1985 he founded Americus Christian Assembly, a church which he pastored for five years. In 1993 he established Victory Worship Center, one of the fasted growing churches in Americus, Georgia.In addition to his church-related activities, John Alford has the call to spread the gospel through the medium of the printed page. Predestination Unveiled is his sixth book. It is John's desire to write at least one book each year for the balance of his life.
